WUSC, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WOLREC, LAUNCH THE ACTION FOR PAID CHILDCARE TRANSFORMATION (ACT) PROJECT

WUSC, in partnership with WOLREC, has launched the Action for Paid Childcare Transformation (ACT) project, marking the beginning of its implementation in the two districts of Lilongwe and Blantyre.
The launch in Lilongwe today was graced by the Deputy Minister of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare, Halima Daudi.
The ACT project aims to promote and protect the rights and needs of women and girls in relation to paid care work.
Funded by the Government of Canada (GAC), the project will run from April 2025 to December 2028.
