The What Works 2 consortium is working on developing an Advocacy Strategy for its Pamodzi Kuthetsa Nkhanza project to be implemented in two districts of Lilongwe and Balaka.
The consortium comprising, the Women’s Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC), Girls Empowerment Network (GENET) and Women and Girls (WAG) Disability Rights had a meeting at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre to discuss inputs for the strategy.
Other stakeholders engaged in coming up with the strategy include, NGO-Gender Coordination Network, Ministry of Gender, the Police and the Judiciary.
The four-year project will be implemented with funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
